Green building has become more than just a trend in the construction industry. Thanks to an unprecedented level of government initiatives, heightened residential demand for green construction and an improvement in sustainable materials, “green” or resource-responsible building techniques have become mainstream.
Builders, architects and consumers are looking for products that will help them save energy, save water and ultimately save money each month. BioBased Insulation® can help you tap into this growing market – whether you are new to the insulation business or an experienced contractor looking to expand your business by offering new products and services. |

If you are interested in starting a spray foam insulation business, we can help. Our territory sales managers can help you evaluate whether your market will support a spray foam insulation business and if it’s a good fit for your skills. Over the years, we’ve developed a typical profile for a successful contractor. This is by no means all-inclusive, but it does give you some basic guidelines to consider and points to discuss with your territory sales manager.

Some of our most successful contractors are those who have previous experience as an insulation contractor, builder or other sub-contractor. You understand the construction industry, and many times you have already started and managed a business. Join the BioBased Insulation® team and expand the products and services that you offer.
We offer a complete training course covering building science, applications and equipment, safety, products, how to bid jobs and marketing. During these trainings we also bring in a green building expert to speak to the group as well as a successful BioBased Insulation® contractor who can give you valuable insights into setting up and running your business. We also offer applicator training to give you or your staff focused, hands-on experience working with the equipment and installing the product.
Whether you’re starting a new business or expanding an existing business, we’re here when you have questions or need to troubleshoot problems. We make sure our contractors are informed about, and prepared to address, industry and code issues, and we give you strong marketing tools and support to help you sell the product. We are always looking for new contractors who can grow with us.
